Coordinate transport, parking and mobility services that support safe access across Western campuses.

The Opportunity
Western Sydney University is seeking a Business and Transport Coordinator to provide high-level operational, administrative and strategic support to the Director, Safety and Campus Delivery. Based at the Hawkesbury (Richmond) Campus, this role supports the delivery of effective campus mobility, transport services and parking operations across the University.

Working within the Office of Property and Commercial in the Division of Operations, you will coordinate a range of transport and access functions including fleet management, shuttle bus programs, parking compliance and contractor oversight. You will also provide financial, procurement and reporting support to enable informed decision-making and service continuity.

This role contributes to operational and strategic initiatives that enhance transport planning, access, parking experience and campus safety. You will work closely with internal teams and external providers to support safe, efficient and compliant transport outcomes across a complex, multi-campus environment.

What Success Looks Like

  • Effective coordination of parking, shuttle bus and transport services in line with policy, budget and service standards
  • Accurate financial administration, forecasting and reporting for transport and mobility operations
  • Strong procurement and contract support, including supplier performance monitoring
  • Clear, timely briefings, correspondence and reports to support executive decision-making

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications or recognised industry training in transport, logistics, business, planning or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in transport planning, parking administration or mobility-related operations
  • Strong financial, procurement and contract management capability
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders and competing priorities

It is desirable that you have:

  • Experience coordinating projects or contributing to multidisciplinary project teams delivering operational or service improvement initiatives.
  • Experience using SEINS or similar enforcement, compliance or infringement management systems.
