The Opportunity
The Change Analyst, Cyber provides specialist expertise to assess organisational people impacts, stakeholder readiness and adoption requirements to support the successful delivery of critical cyber security initiatives across the University.
Working within the Office of the Vice-Chancellor and reporting to the Change and Adoption Manager, Cyber Program, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of change planning and execution activities, helping staff understand, engage with, and adopt new technologies, processes, and ways of working.
This role works closely with the organisational change team, cyber security program team, cyber security specialists, and key stakeholders to analyse complex impacts, identify risks and opportunities, and generate evidence-based insights that inform effective change and adoption strategies. You will contribute to the development of user-focused plans, training materials, learning resources, communications and reporting that support readiness and embed sustainable behavioural change across a diverse university environment.
A key aspect of the role is translating complex cyber security requirements into meaningful organisational outcomes. You will synthesise stakeholder feedback, adoption data and readiness insights to identify capability gaps, resistance patterns and opportunities for improvement. Through effective analysis, stakeholder engagement and communication, you will help build confidence, capability and commitment to change across the University.
What Success Looks Like:
- Deliver high-quality change impact assessments across people, processes, systems and ways of working.
- Analyse stakeholder readiness, engagement and adoption data to identify risks, barriers and opportunities.
- Support the Change & Adoption Manager to develop and execute on fit-for-purpose change plans, including communication and engagement planning,
- Develop practical, user-focused training, communication and adoption materials that support successful change outcomes.
- Produce meaningful reporting, dashboards and insights that inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships across program teams and stakeholder groups to support readiness and adoption activities.

About You
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Demonstrated experience in a Change Analyst or similar role supporting digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong capability in change impact assessment, stakeholder analysis and organisational readiness evaluation.
- Proven ability to translate complex digital and technical changes into clear business impacts and user-focused solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and data interpretation skills, with the ability to generate meaningful insights from multiple information sources.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing training materials, communications and learning resources.
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work effectively across diverse audiences and business areas.
- Understanding of the higher education sector and its operating environment.
