Lead domestic student recruitment strategies that improve engagement, conversion and enrolment outcomes across priority cohorts.
The Opportunity
You will lead the planning, implementation and performance of domestic student recruitment activity across allocated regions, cohorts or recruitment portfolios. Translating University strategy into targeted plans, you will establish clear priorities, timelines and measures that contribute to domestic student enrolment targets.
You will use recruitment data, market intelligence and student insights to identify opportunities across school leaver, non-school leaver and postgraduate markets. By monitoring the recruitment pipeline from initial engagement through to enrolment, you will identify performance gaps, implement targeted interventions and recommend where resources and investment will have the greatest impact.
You will provide functional leadership to future student engagement staff, managing workloads, capability and operational performance. Working across Marketing, Market Insights and Data, Admissions, Faculties, Student Success and Services, you will build alignment across the recruitment journey and provide strategic advice on performance, market opportunities, risks and continuous improvement.
What Success Looks Like:
- Deliver targeted recruitment plans that contribute to domestic enrolment targets.
- Improve engagement, lead generation, application, conversion and enrolment outcomes.
- Use recruitment data and market intelligence to identify gaps and guide interventions.
- Build strong relationships with schools, education providers, communities and partners.
- Lead staff, budgets and resources against clear recruitment priorities and measures.
Please refer to the Position Description for full details.
