Support Services Stage Coordinator

• Full-time, Ongoing position at HEW Level 7.
• Goulburn campus with flexible work arrangements.
• Salary: $108,659 – $117,202 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.

Coordinate student services and program operations for the Operational Stage of the Associate Degree in Applied Policing.

The Opportunity
In this position, you will coordinate the operational delivery of the Associate Degree in Applied Policing during the second year of study and first year of employment for Probationary Constables. Working within a partnership between Western Sydney University and the NSW Police Force, you will ensure program activities are delivered accurately, consistently and within agreed timelines.

You will manage the day-to-day delivery of student support services across face-to-face, telephone, email, virtual and self-service channels. This includes coordinating placement-related subjects, learning management system administration, participation monitoring, assessment logistics and the maintenance of accurate student and placement records.

You will supervise Placement Officers and casual professional staff, allocate workloads and support effective induction, training and development. You will also maintain productive relationships across the University and the NSW Police Force, monitor service performance, address operational risks and implement improvements to systems, processes and service delivery.

What Success Looks Like:

• Deliver the Operational Stage accurately and on time against University and NSW Police Force requirements.
• Provide consistent, responsive student support across multiple service channels.
• Maintain a capable operational team through effective supervision, workload allocation and staff development.
• Sustain productive working relationships that support seamless program co-delivery.
• Identify operational risks, analyse service performance and implement agreed improvements.

About You

• A relevant degree with at least four years’ subsequent relevant experience and extensive management expertise, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Extensive experience managing, coordinating and supervising staff in a multi-channel customer service environment within a large, complex organisation.
• High-level analytical, evaluative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and apply policies and procedures.
• Proven stakeholder management, organisational and communication skills across internal and external partnerships.
• Proficiency in student and records management systems, learning management systems and digital communication platforms.

Pre-Employment Requirements

Successful applicants will be required to:

• Complete and obtain approval via the NSW Police Force Professional Suitability Application Form.
• Obtain and maintain a Baseline National Security Clearance, as required by the NSW Police Academy.
