The Opportunity
Western Sydney University is seeking a Talent Partner to manage end-to-end recruitment for an allocated, high-volume portfolio within the Office for People. This fixed-term role supports the University’s workforce priorities by delivering timely, high-quality and inclusive recruitment outcomes.

Reporting to the Associate Director, Talent Acquisition, you will take end-to-end ownership of recruitment processes, from stakeholder engagement and job advertising through to offer management. The role includes a strong operational focus, handling complex queries and applying sound problem-solving capability across a broad range of recruitment scenarios. You will work closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to provide expert advice, manage recruitment strategy meetings, and ensure compliance with University policies and enterprise agreements.

You will also leverage recruitment technologies, including SmartRecruiters, LinkedIn Recruiter and AI-enabled tools, to improve efficiency, reduce manual handling, and deliver an excellent candidate experience. This role is based at the Hawkesbury campus, with flexibility to work from other campuses and from home.

What Success Looks Like

  • Delivering end-to-end recruitment for a high-volume portfolio with accuracy, efficiency and strong attention to detail
  • Effectively managing complex recruitment queries and operational issues using sound judgement
  • Running recruitment strategy meetings and developing role-specific plans and scorecards
  • Building and maintaining talent pools to support current and future hiring needs
  • Providing timely, practical advice and support to hiring managers and stakeholders

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end, high-volume recruitment or talent acquisition
  • Strong operational capability with proven problem-solving skills across complex scenarios
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build productive stakeholder relationships
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with recruitment systems and tools, including SmartRecruiters and LinkedIn Recruiter
