Engagement Assistant - Faculty of ECS

• Full-time, Ongoing position at HEW Level 4.
• Parramatta City campus with flexible working arrangements.
• Salary: $79,542 – $84,683 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Student and Learning Support Manager, you will work closely with Engagement Officers, Marketing & Events Officer, academic staff and professional teams across the Faculty to support a range of engagement activities that showcase the Faculty and strengthen connections with schools, industry, community organisations, alumni and academic partners.

You will provide administrative, organisational and stakeholder support across events, engagement programs and partnership activities. This includes assisting with event logistics, preparing resources and communications, maintaining stakeholder records, monitoring actions and timelines, and supporting the delivery of engagement initiatives from planning through to implementation.

You will also support delegation visits, networking events, workshops, school visits and on-campus experiences, ensuring activities are well organised, professionally delivered and aligned with University communication and branding standards. Working across multiple schools and teams, you will contribute to a variety of projects while developing valuable skills in stakeholder engagement, event administration and project support.

What Success Looks Like:

• Supporting engagement initiatives that strengthen relationships with schools, industry, community organisations and academic partners.
• Providing efficient administrative and organisational support for Faculty events, programs and stakeholder activities.
• Maintaining accurate stakeholder records, databases and engagement documentation.
• Assisting with event logistics, communications, resources and operational planning.
• Tracking actions, timelines and deliverables to support the successful delivery of engagement activities.
• Preparing high-quality correspondence, presentations and engagement materials.
• Building positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Contributing to multiple projects and activities while meeting competing priorities and deadlines.

About You

You are an organised and proactive professional who enjoys working with people, managing competing priorities and helping deliver successful events and engagement activities.

You will bring:

• Experience providing administrative support in a busy and fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Experience supporting events, projects, stakeholder engagement activities or customer-focused programs.
• Well-developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and other workplace systems to track information and support program delivery.
• The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
• A collaborative approach, willingness to learn and ability to contribute across multiple teams and projects.
• Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends to support Faculty events.
• A current, valid, unrestricted NSW Driver’s License and the ability to drive throughout Western Sydney as required
