Lead student-centred digital content and communications across employability, placements and careers services.
The Opportunity
The Content and Digital Engagement Coordinator leads the development, delivery and continuous improvement of student communications, digital engagement strategies and online content across Employability and Graduate Futures. The role is responsible for ensuring students receive clear, timely and consistent communications throughout their engagement with careers, employability, placements and student success services, supporting greater awareness, participation and engagement.
Working across platforms including CareerHub (Symplicity), InPlace, Blackboard, SharePoint and associated systems, the Coordinator develops and manages digital content, communication campaigns and self-service resources that improve the accessibility, quality and effectiveness of information and support available to students. The role plays a key part in creating seamless digital experiences that make it easier for students to navigate services, understand requirements and access opportunities.
Collaborating closely with teams across Employability and Graduate Futures, the Coordinator contributes to service transformation and continuous improvement by redesigning student communications, digital resources and online learning materials. Through the application of best practice in communications, content design and digital engagement, the role supports stronger student outcomes, improved service visibility and more effective digital service delivery across the student lifecycle.
What Success Looks Like:
- Student-facing digital content and online resources are clear, accessible, consistent and aligned to student needs.
- Communications across careers, placements and employability services are timely, coordinated and easy for students to navigate.
- Digital engagement resources and self-service materials are improved across CareerHub, InPlace, Blackboard, SharePoint and related systems.
- Accessibility, usability and communication effectiveness are regularly reviewed to identify practical service improvements.
- Stakeholders across Employability and Graduate Futures are supported with clear advice on digital engagement, content design and student communication approaches.

About You
You will bring strong digital content, communication and stakeholder engagement capability, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, accessible and student-centred resources. You will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in communications, digital media, education, marketing, user experience, information management or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education.
- Demonstrated experience developing, managing and improving digital content, online engagement resources and student-facing communications within a large and complex organisation.
- Experience working with enterprise digital platforms and content systems such as SharePoint, Blackboard, CareerHub (Symplicity), InPlace or similar systems,
- Sound understanding of accessibility standards, digital communication principles and user experience practices.
- Strong written, verbal, content design and digital storytelling skills, including the ability to prepare guidance materials, procedures, communication resources and online support materials that translate complex information into accessible content.
- Highly developed stakeholder engagement, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate multiple projects and contribute to service transformation and digital engagement initiatives.
