  • Full-time, fixed term 18-month contract at HEW Level 6.
  • Bankstown Campus with flexible working arrangements.
  • Salary: $92,546 – $104,982 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.


Coordinate student placements and partnerships that support progression and professional experience outcomes.

The Opportunity
You will provide coordinated administrative and stakeholder support to enable student progression and professional experience placements across the Faculty of SABEL. Working closely with academic leaders, professional staff, and external partners, you will support the organisation and delivery of placement and engagement activities while maintaining accurate records and effective working relationships.

Manage placement documentation, systems, contracts and reporting to ensure compliance with University policies, accreditation standards and external requirements. This includes monitoring data integrity, preparing reports, and responding to changes in placement regulations and sector expectations. Travel between campuses may be required.

Support students through clear advice and case management, contribute to engagement and mobility activities including outbound tours, and assist with continuous improvement of placement processes to optimise service delivery and operational efficiency.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Student placements are coordinated accurately, on time and in line with compliance requirements.
  • Placement records, systems and reports are maintained with high data integrity.
  • Strong, professional relationships are sustained with students, staff and external partners.
  • Placement enquiries and issues are resolved efficiently using sound judgement.
  • Processes are reviewed and improved to support quality outcomes and service excellence.

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in industry liaison, preferably in education.
  • Demonstrated experience managing relational databases, systems and data reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgement and initiative.
  • High-level oral and written communication skills with a client-focused approach.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, work independently and act with discretion.
