  • Salary: HEW 6 $97,693 – $104,713 per annum, plus 25% casual loading

The Opportunity
The Faculty of Health are calling for an expression of interest for a are seeking an Accreditation Officer to join the Campbelltown team on a casual basis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all accreditation processes, ensuring our organisation maintains compliance with relevant standards and regulatory requirements. You will serve as the primary liaison between our organisation and accrediting bodies, playing a critical role in maintaining our accreditation status and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The Accreditation Officer will:

  • Manage end-to-end accreditation processes, including application preparation, documentation compilation, and submission to accrediting bodies
  • Coordinate with internal departments and stakeholders to gather necessary information and documentation for accreditation reviews
  • Conduct internal audits and gap analyses to identify areas of non-compliance and develop corrective action plans
  • Maintain comprehensive accreditation records, documentation, and databases to ensure all materials are current and readily accessible
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and accrediting body representatives during site visits and reviews
  • Monitor regulatory changes, industry updates, and accreditation standard modifications to ensure organisational compliance
  • Develop, implement, and update accreditation policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Track accreditation status, renewal deadlines, and compliance milestones to prevent lapses in accreditation
  • Prepare detailed accreditation reports and presentations for senior management and governing bodies
  • Collaborate with quality assurance and compliance teams to integrate accreditation requirements into organisational operations


About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in accreditation management, compliance, or quality assurance roles
  • Strong knowledge of accreditation standards, frameworks, and regulatory requirements relevant to the industry
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple accreditation processes simultaneously
  • Proficiency with documentation management systems, databases, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify compliance gaps and develop solutions
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and liaising with external stakeholders
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation and record-keeping
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with audit processes and quality management systems
  • Experience with specific accrediting bodies or regulatory agencies (preferred)
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (preferred)
