The Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced Lead Learning Partner to provide leadership across the design, delivery, quality assurance and continuous improvement of accredited and non‑accredited learning programs within the Workplace Skilling Directorate.
Working closely with the Director, Workplace Skilling, and senior stakeholders across Product, Business Development and Quality and Standards, you will lead practitioners and champion contemporary, learner‑centred delivery across diverse client and cohort contexts. You will play a critical role in ensuring high‑quality learning outcomes, strong regulatory compliance, and innovative workforce‑aligned solutions that support the University’s broader impact agenda.
In this role you will be:
- Lead the design, delivery and quality assurance of accredited and non‑accredited learning programs across face‑to‑face, online and blended modes.
- Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to contract and casual practitioners, embedding best‑practice adult learning, assessment and facilitation approaches.
- Oversee the end‑to‑end learning lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, resourcing, assessment, validation, learner support and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with the VET Quality Framework, SRTO 2025 and RTO Standards, maintaining accurate, audit‑ready documentation and records.
- Partner with Product and Business Development teams to design innovative learning solutions, including mapping corporate capability needs to accredited pathways.
- Review and contribute to proposals and tender responses, ensuring pedagogical quality and regulatory alignment.
- Monitor learner progress, delivery risks and quality indicators, driving corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including industry partners and regulators, to ensure programs remain current, responsive and industry‑relevant.

About you
You will bring:
- A current TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and relevant vocational qualifications aligned to the College’s Scope of Registration.
- Demonstrated experience leading the design, delivery and oversight of accredited and non‑accredited learning solutions in a vocational or B2B education environment.
- Strong capability in learning solution design, course development, assessment practices and continuous improvement.
- Proven experience coaching, mentoring and supporting practitioners to deliver high‑quality, learner‑centred outcomes.
- Sound knowledge of SRTO 2025 requirements, ASQA compliance and quality assurance processes, including validation, moderation and audit preparation.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
- A solutions‑focused mindset, with the ability to balance compliance requirements with business and client needs.
The Location
This position will be based at Western’s Parramatta City Campus, although travel to other campuses will be required. This position is not available in a fully remote format.
Remuneration Package: $150,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation.
