The Opportunity
The Library Learning Partnerships Manager provides strategic leadership in the development and delivery of curriculum-embedded library services that enhance student learning and academic success. This role plays a central part in strengthening partnerships between the Library, Faculties, and the Division of Education and Students.

Working closely with academic leaders and teaching teams, you will lead scalable and sustainable models that integrate library resources, digital capability, and academic skills into discipline curricula. A strong focus of the role is supporting inclusive, culturally responsive learning, including initiatives aligned with the Library Indigenous Strategy.

You will also lead the transformation of reading lists from print to digital formats in collaboration with the Collections team, improving accessibility and alignment with contemporary learning environments. In addition, the role oversees communications planning to proactively engage Schools and promote embedded library approaches that support teaching and learning priorities.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Lead and continuously improve curriculum-embedded library learning initiatives.
  • Build strong partnerships with Faculties and senior academic stakeholders.
  • Advance digital and academic skills integration across programs.
  • Deliver accessible, contemporary reading list and learning resource solutions.
  • Lead, develop and support a high-performing Learning Partnerships team.

About You

  • Degree in library and information science or relevant discipline, or equivalent experience with ALIA eligibility
  • Demonstrated leadership in curriculum-embedded library services within higher education
  • Proven experience managing and developing high-performing professional teams
  • Strong understanding of contemporary learning design and inclusive teaching practices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
