The Opportunity
We’re seeking two talented Online Learning Environment Designers to help shape the future of education across a diverse range of programs at The College, including Academic Pathways, Vocational Training, and English Language Programs.

As a key member of the Online Learning Environment team, you will:

  • Design and maintain engaging digital learning content within Learning Management Systems and associated technologies, ensuring a seamless experience for students and staff.
  • Play a central role in system optimisation, quality assurance, and the rollout of new technologies, staying ahead of emerging trends in educational technology.
  • Develop multimedia-rich learning materials, integrating innovative, technology-enabled tools that enhance accessibility and engagement.
  • Support a broad portfolio of programs, including Academic Pathway Programs, Vocational Training, and English Language Programs.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively within established frameworks to ensure learning environments are technically robust and aligned with our design principles and academic standards.


This is a full-time, ongoing position.

Who We're Looking For
You are:

  • an experienced Online Learning Environment Designer with strong technical expertise in building, maintaining, and optimising LMS‑based learning environments.
  • technically proficient across Learning Management Systems (such as Blackboard and Canvas) and content platforms (including SharePoint), with hands‑on experience supporting live learning environments.
  • highly skilled in the development and integration of digital learning objects using tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft applications, with an understanding of relevant standards.
  • detail‑oriented and quality‑focused, with demonstrated experience applying quality assurance processes and institutional guidelines to ensure learning environments meet high technical and accessibility standards.
  • comfortable working independently within established frameworks and timelines, while also collaborating effectively within cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced, multi‑program environment.
  • a clear and effective communicator, able to provide technical guidance, escalate risks appropriately, and work productively with a wide range of stakeholders.


Working with Children Check
As this position is expected to involve direct or unsupervised contact with children, and in accordance with legislative requirements, it is a mandatory requirement to obtain and maintain a “NSW Working with Children Check Clearance”. 

The location

This position will be based at our Parramatta City campus, although travel to other campuses may be required. This position is not available in a fully remote format.

Remuneration Package: Professional Staff Level 6 $104,055 p.a. (comprising Salary of $91,536 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading) in accordance with the College Enterprise Agreement.
