  • Parramatta South Campus with flexible working arrangements.
  • Salary: $107,053 – $115,469 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading. 


Support effective governance and benefits realisation across the University’s transformation portfolio.

The Opportunity
You will support the effective execution of the University’s transformation portfolio by strengthening project governance, compliance and assurance. Working within the Portfolio Management Office, you will contribute to strategic delivery by ensuring governance frameworks and benefits realisation practices are applied consistently across programs and projects.

You will develop and maintain benefits realisation plans, registers and reporting artefacts that provide clear, timely insights for decision-makers. This includes coordinating assurance activities, supporting stage gate reviews, and monitoring risks and dependencies that may impact governance compliance or value delivery.

You will also play a key role in building organisational capability. By coaching project teams in standards, templates and health checks, you will support continuous improvement in governance and benefits management practices and help embed consistent ways of working across diverse initiatives.


What Success Looks Like:

  • Benefits realisation plans are defined, tracked and reported with clear alignment to strategic goals.
  • Governance frameworks and controls are applied consistently across programs and projects.
  • Assurance activities and stage gate reviews provide reliable oversight of delivery and compliance.
  • Risks and dependencies impacting benefits or governance are identified and managed effectively.
  • Executive reporting supports informed, timely decision-making across the portfolio.

About You

  • Relevant qualifications or experience in governance, benefits realisation or project reporting in a complex organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience applying governance and benefits management frameworks.
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to identify risks and support value optimisation.
  • Effective communication skills to engage senior stakeholders on delivery insights.
  • High level of digital literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft 365 and project reporting tools.
