Coordinate transport, parking and mobility services that support safe access across Western campuses.

The Opportunity
The Business Operations Coordinator, Transport & Parking provides high‑level operational, administrative and strategic support to the Director, Safety and Campus Delivery, enabling the effective management of campus mobility, transport services and parking operations across the University.

The role coordinates day‑to‑day transport and parking activities, including fleet management, parking compliance and shuttle bus services, ensuring delivery aligns with University policies, service standards and budget requirements. Responsibilities also include supporting procurement processes, contract management and financial administration, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting, to enable informed decision-making and service continuity.

The position prepares reports, briefings and correspondence on transport and mobility matters, contributes to projects that improve access, traffic flow and campus safety, and works closely with internal and external stakeholders to support safe, efficient campus operations.

What Success Looks Like

  • Financial administration for transport and parking is accurate, timely and supports informed decision-making.
  • Procurement and contract processes are well managed, with strong supplier performance and compliance.
  • Parking compliance and shuttle services operate effectively and in line with University requirements.
  • Reporting, briefings and correspondence are clear, accurate and fit for executive use.
  • Stakeholder relationships are productive and support safe, efficient campus mobility outcomes.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring a combination of relevant qualifications, operational experience and strong coordination skills, along with the ability to work confidently with a broad range of stakeholders. You will also have:

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or recognised industry training in logistics, transport, business, planning or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in transport planning, parking administration, logistics or mobility-related operations.
  • Strong financial and procurement capability, including budgeting, forecasting and contract oversight.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing reports, briefings and correspondence.
  • Well-developed stakeholder engagement skills and high digital literacy, including MS365 and data systems.


It is desirable that you have:

  • Experience coordinating projects or contributing to multidisciplinary project teams delivering operational or service improvement initiatives.
  • Experience using SEINS or similar enforcement, compliance or infringement management systems.
