  • Salary: $97,693 – $104,713 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading

 

Manage student complaints and misconduct matters with fairness, consistency and strong stakeholder engagement.

The Opportunity
You will coordinate the fair and timely management of student complaints and misconduct matters from intake through to resolution, ensuring decisions align with University policy, regulatory requirements and principles of natural justice.

 

You will administer structured and compliant misconduct processes, including coordinating hearings, panel arrangements and associated documentation. You will provide clear, practical advice to students, staff and faculties to support consistent and informed handling of matters.

You will also contribute to continuous improvement by analysing trends, maintaining accurate case records, updating systems and resources, and supporting training and communities of practice that strengthen complaint and misconduct management across the University

What Success Looks Like:

  • Complaints and misconduct matters are triaged and resolved in a timely, fair and compliant manner.
  • Misconduct proceedings are administered accurately, consistently and in line with procedural requirements.
  • Stakeholders receive clear, reliable advice and support throughout complaint and misconduct processes.
  • Case data, records and digital resources are accurate, current and transparent.
  • Process improvements reduce risk and improve the quality and consistency of outcomes.

About You

  • A tertiary qualification with substantial experience in complaint and or misconduct handling.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders in complex environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing formal documentation.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 with strong organisational and record keeping skills.
