  • Campbelltown campus.
  • Salary: $123,327 – $145,625 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.

Support future occupational therapists through teaching, research and industry engagement in a growing health discipline.

The Opportunity

You will contribute to teaching, curriculum design and delivery across occupational therapy and related disciplines within the School of Health Sciences. This includes coordinating subjects, delivering lectures and tutorials, and supporting student learning through assessment and feedback aligned to evidence-based practice.

You will also engage in research and scholarship activities, contributing to publications and research grant applications while supervising undergraduate and postgraduate research students. Your work will support growth in key areas such as disability across the lifespan, mental health, rehabilitation and aged care.

You will collaborate with academic colleagues across the School, Faculty and University to strengthen programs and build partnerships with industry and professional stakeholders. This role includes participating in academic administration, contributing to discipline initiatives and supporting students to achieve their academic goals.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and coordinate subjects effectively.
  • Contribute to research outputs including publications and grants.
  • Supervise research students and support their academic progression.
  • Build partnerships across the University and with external stakeholders.
  • Support curriculum development and program improvement.

About You

  • PhD in Occupational Therapy or a related field, or near completion, and recognised occupational therapy qualification, with AHPRA registration.
  • Demonstrated experience in university-level teaching and student engagement.
  • Evidence of research activity, including publications or scholarship outputs.
  • Experience developing professional and academic partnerships.
  • Experience supervising research students and contributing to grant applications.
