  • Full-time, 2 Year Fixed-Term position at HEW Level 7.
  • Penrith Campus with flexible working arrangements.
  • Salary: $107,053 – $115,469 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.


Deliver trusted data insights and dashboards that inform strategic and operational decisions across the University.

The Opportunity
You will analyse complex datasets to deliver clear, accurate and well-designed insights that support evidence-based decision-making across the University. Working with a high level of autonomy, you will develop dashboards and analytical reports that align with data governance and quality standards.

You will extract, clean and transform data from multiple sources, applying agreed quality checks to ensure integrity and reliability. Your work will support both strategic and operational initiatives, with a strong focus on consistency, clarity and usability of reporting outputs.

You will work closely with senior analysts and a wide range of stakeholders to clarify requirements and translate complex information into meaningful insights. Through collaboration and advocacy, you will contribute to improving analytics processes and promoting data literacy across the organisation.


What Success Looks Like:

  • High-quality dashboards and reports delivered in Power BI or equivalent tools.
  • Accurate, well-governed datasets that meet agreed quality standards.
  • Stakeholder requirements clearly understood and met through effective engagement.
  • Consistent application of data definitions, documentation and visual standards.
  • Active contribution to continuous improvement in analytics processes.

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in data analytics, statistics or a related discipline.
  • 2–4 years’ experience in data analysis, reporting or business intelligence roles.
  • Demonstrated capability in Power BI or equivalent tools, with basic SQL knowledge.
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets and relational databases.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate insights to non-technical audience
