• Salary: $118,969 – $132,069 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.

Design and deliver initiatives that strengthen inclusion, equity and respect across the University.

The Opportunity
You will partner with stakeholders across Western Sydney University to design, deliver and evaluate diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives that contribute to an inclusive, equitable and respectful workplace culture. Working across People and Culture, you will identify opportunities, scope practical solutions and support organisational priorities through evidence-informed approaches.

You will coordinate programs, projects and initiatives across a broad range of diversity, equity and inclusion focus areas. This includes supporting compliance, monitoring and reporting activities associated with legislation, sector frameworks and University commitments, while contributing to the integration of diversity, equity and inclusion principles into people processes, policies and organisational practices.

Success in this role will rely on your ability to build productive relationships across a complex stakeholder environment. You will engage with senior leaders, working groups, community networks and external partners to support consultation and collaboration. You will also monitor emerging trends, research and best practice to inform continuous improvement and develop solutions that are responsive to evolving organisational needs.

What Success Looks Like:

• Partner effectively with stakeholders to deliver practical diversity, equity and inclusion outcomes aligned to organisational priorities.
• Coordinate and evaluate programs, projects and initiatives that strengthen an inclusive workplace culture.
• Support compliance, monitoring and reporting activities associated with legislative and organisational requirements.
• Embed diversity, equity and inclusion principles into people processes, policies, programs and organisational practices.
• Build productive relationships that support consultation, engagement and collaboration across the University and external networks.

About You

• Demonstrated experience contributing to the design, implementation or evaluation of programs, projects or initiatives involving stakeholder engagement, organisational improvement or culture change.
• Strong relationship-building, collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to operate across both strategic and operational environments while adapting to changing priorities and organisational needs.
• Strong project coordination, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, supported by sound judgement, initiative and adaptability.
