Expression of Interest - Casual Placement Officer                              

  • Casual position available for variable hours and days based on operational needs.
  • Based at Campbelltown Campus.
  • Salary: HEW 6 $97,693 – $104,713 per annum (Pro-Rata), plus 25% casual loading.

The Opportunity
You will manage the planning and delivery of student placements within the faculty, ensuring alignment with course requirements and the expectations of external partners. This includes coordinating placements across diverse settings, maintaining provider agreements, and supporting academic and professional staff to ensure timely and compliant processes.

Act as a key point of contact for students, providing clear and accurate advice on placement requirements and processes. You will support students with administrative and compliance activities, attend briefings and tutorials, and facilitate engagement throughout the placement lifecycle.

Maintain accurate records and reporting, monitor placement progress, and manage multiple concurrent cases. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, you will ensure effective coordination, resolve operational issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of placement processes and systems.

About You

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or significant administrative experience.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering high-level administrative services.
  • Well-developed communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise work, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong computer literacy across Microsoft Office and database systems.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with ability to prioritise
