  • Multiple locations available; Bankstown City Campus, Parramatta City Campus and Campbelltown Campus with the inherent requirement to travel between campus.

Are you passionate about empowering students to thrive in their academic journey and beyond? 

In this role you will:

  • Deliver high‑impact one‑on‑one and group coaching, combining pastoral care, academic support, and career guidance to help students thrive.
  • Proactively track student progress, identifying challenges early and driving initiatives that improve retention, success, and confidence.
  • Create a strong sense of belonging, shaping inclusive strategies that foster connection, engagement, and wellbeing across campus.
  • Be a trusted student advocate, partnering with academic and professional teams to resolve complex issues and embed the coaching model into teaching and curriculum.

About you
You have:

  • A relevant undergraduate qualification, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with a strong understanding of coaching and mentoring to support student engagement and wellbeing.
  • Sound knowledge of student engagement, career development theories, and tertiary learning environments, with the ability to apply these in practice.
  • A deep awareness of the challenges faced by students from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds, and a commitment to inclusive, student‑centred outcomes.
  • A thoughtful, solution‑focused mindset with excellent communication skills, capable of managing sensitive information, navigating conflict, and building trust with care and professionalism.
  • A highly collaborative and adaptable approach, able to build strong relationships across academic and professional teams, work confidently across multiple communication channels, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment with competing priorities.

The location
We currently have positions available at multiple campus locations, with travel to other campuses required. This position is not available in a fully remote format.

Remuneration Package: Professional Staff Level 6 $104,055 p.a. (comprising Salary of $91,536 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading) in accordance with The College Enterprise Agreement.

Working with Children Check
