This role works closely with Institutes and TRTS leadership to drive infrastructure planning, oversee technical support and equipment needs for high-stakes research partnerships and programs, manage and lead teams of technical experts, and anticipate and communicate data, equipment, and infrastructure trends.

You will champion continuous improvement, leading cross-campus and cross-team initiatives that strengthen service delivery, optimise operational efficiency and build a positive and productive workplace culture. As part of a multi-campus network, you will also support broader technical operations by partnering with other Technical Managers to drive improvements across the University.
Based at the Hawkesbury campus, this role includes frequent travel to the Westmead Campus with additional travel to Bankstown and Penrith campuses, on occasion, as part of the multi‑site service model.
