  • Salary: HEW Level 5 $85,778 – $97,006 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.


Create and manage Launch Pad content to lift participation, engagement and visibility.

The Opportunity
You will provide coordinated marketing and communications support for Western Sydney University’s Launch Pad driving innovation, entrepreneurship and community impact by connecting students, researchers, start-ups and industry partners. In this role you will develop, implement and maintain content across digital and communication channels to enhance the program’s profile, reach and reputation. You will write and edit copy for digital platforms, social media, newsletters and promotional materials, ensuring content meets quality standards and aligns with University brand and messaging requirements.

You will coordinate and maintain Launch Pad communication channels, keeping content current and consistent across audiences. You will develop marketing collateral that supports program promotion, participant recruitment and the celebration of achievements. You will build effective working relationships with stakeholders across the Enterprise team, Communications and Media, and you will liaise with external suppliers such as designers, videographers, copywriters, media and communications agencies, and translators as needed to deliver communication outcomes.

You will monitor and measure communications performance across channels to inform insights and optimisation. You will assist with post-campaign analysis, report on outcomes, and recommend practical improvements. You will also provide operational and administrative communications support, including maintaining accurate documentation and work tracking across SharePoint, Smartsheets and WesternNow, and supporting coordination tasks such as scheduling, research, reporting and meeting documentation while managing competing priorities and deadlines.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Content is published across channels to schedule, brand and quality standards.
  • Launch Pad channels are accurate, current and aligned to key messages.
  • Collateral supports participant recruitment and program promotion priorities.
  • Performance reporting identifies insights and leads to measurable improvements.
  • Documentation and tracking are maintained accurately across agreed systems.

About You

  • You’ll have a degree in Communications, Marketing, Social Media or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • You bring experience supporting marketing and/or communications activities within a complex organisation.
  • You’re a confident writer with strong editing skills and enjoy creating clear, engaging content across multiple formats.
  • You’re comfortable analysing digital performance data and turning it into clear insights and practical reports.
  • You’re digitally savvy and confident using Microsoft 365, along with tools like Smartsheets and Canva.
