  • Salary: HEW Level 6 $97,693 – $104,713 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.

The Opportunity
AMRF Connect is a new collaboration space located within the Advanced Manufacturing Research Facility at Bradfield. The hub brings together large businesses, SMEs, startups, researchers, government and community to drive innovation and commercialisation across advanced manufacturing.

As the Community and Operations Officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the AMRF Connect physical space, helping establish a professional, welcoming and well run environment for industry and research partners. The role plays a core part in enabling Launch Pad’s mission to grow Western Sydney’s innovation ecosystem through practical support, capability building and strong community engagement.

You will coordinate events and activations, support delivery of programs, manage enquiries and systems, and nurture relationships across internal teams, government, research partners and local industry. Your work will help connect people to opportunities, promote collaboration and strengthen an emerging precinct designed to accelerate advanced manufacturing and commercialisation in Western Sydney.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Coordinating day-to-day hub operations to maintain a professional, safe, organised and user-friendly environment.
  • Delivering events, campaigns and engagement activities that activate the precinct and help grow the ecosystem.
  • Supporting program delivery through preparing training materials, managing enquiries and maintaining accurate data.
  • Building trusted relationships with partners, connecting stakeholders to the right people, programs and opportunities.

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or experience in facilities, events, engagement or program coordination.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement capability across diverse groups, ideally in events, activation or program environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to varied audiences and professional liaison.
  • Ability to plan, organise and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, CRM systems such as HubSpot and data management. Familiarity with advanced manufacturing or innovation is highly regarded.
