  • Salary: $107,053 – $115,469 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading


Lead a specialist technical team delivering safe, reliable teaching and research environments for Nursing and Midwifery.

The Opportunity
You will coordinate and lead the Nursing and Midwifery technical team to deliver consistent, high-quality technical support for teaching and research activities. This includes workforce planning, rostering, performance development and ensuring appropriate coverage across a high-volume teaching program.

You will contribute directly to hands-on technical support, preparing, maintaining and operating specialist teaching and research facilities, including clinical and simulation environments. You will manage equipment, consumables and purchasing to support practical classes and research in line with safety, compliance and budget requirements.

Working within a multi-campus university, you will collaborate with other technical teams and academic and professional staff to provide cross-campus support when required. You will play a key role in safety audits, inductions and documentation, and lead or contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

About You

  • A relevant degree or equivalent experience in Medical Science, Nursing and Midwifery, Allied Health or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience leading technical teams in clinical, laboratory or simulation-based settings.
  • Proven hands-on experience supporting practical classes and high-fidelity simulation environments.
  • Experience managing specialist facilities and technical equipment relevant to Nursing and Midwifery.
  • Strong planning, problem-solving, communication and organisational skills.
