  • Full-time, Ongoing position at HEW Level 7.
  • Hawkesbury campus with flexible working arrangements.
  • Salary: $107,053 – $115,469 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.


Provide high-level governance support across committees, policy, elections and statutory compliance.

The Opportunity
You will support key corporate and academic governance committees, including the Board of Trustees’ standing committees and Academic Senate. You will prepare agendas, papers and minutes, coordinate meeting schedules and communicate outcomes to stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality and timely distribution of materials.

You will provide advice on governance matters and help maintain committee records in line with University policy. You will also contribute to capability building across the governance team by supporting and coordinating Governance Officers and sharing effective committee practices and methodologies.

You will manage complex governance processes including student progression and appeals, subpoena requests and University elections. You will also support policy and procedure development, maintain and advise on online systems, and manage University delegations including annual reviews and training/support as needed.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Agendas, papers and minutes are accurate, compliant, and issued on time for key committees.
  • Governance advice supports clear decision-making and consistent application of policy and procedure.
  • Committee records are managed confidentially and stored in line with policy requirements.
  • Policy DDS and the delegations framework are maintained, reviewed and supported effectively.

About You

  • Qualification recognised by the Governance Institute, or extensive equivalent experience at a similar level.
  • Demonstrated experience servicing academic or corporate committees (agendas, papers, minutes and correspondence).
  • Knowledge of statutory and regulatory contexts for public sector bodies, including policy/legal interpretation.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills, including briefs, reports and committee documentation.
  • Proven ability to case manage issues and projects to deadlines, with strong digital and systems capability.
