Support the renewal of student feedback surveys that shape learning and teaching across the University.

The Opportunity
The Project Officer (Student Surveys) plays a key role in supporting the coordination and delivery of initiatives linked to the refresh of the University’s Student Feedback Surveys. These surveys are central to improving teaching quality and enhancing students’ learning experiences across Western Sydney University.

Located within the Professional Development Leadership team in Learning and Teaching, this role works collaboratively across the Division of Education and Students and with a broad range of academic and professional stakeholders. The role supports engagement with the renewed survey framework, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time and aligned with team and divisional priorities.

You will also develop high-quality resources and artefacts to support communication and engagement with staff and students. These materials will be used by multiple audiences across the University and will play a key role in embedding the refreshed Student Feedback Surveys into practice.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Workflows are documented and managed to ensure timely delivery of survey initiatives.
  • Strong relationships are built with internal teams and external partners.
  • Engagement initiatives are designed, implemented and evaluated effectively.
  • Insights and recommendations are provided using feedback and data to improve coordination and outcomes.
  • All activities comply with University policies and legislative requirements.

About You

  • A relevant degree or equivalent professional training and experience in a large, complex organisation.
  • Demonstrated organisational, administrative and time management skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • High-level analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience providing advice based on research and evidence.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with university staff and students.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build effective professional relationships at all levels.
