The Opportunity
You will oversee the day-to-day coordination of the University’s student-led project teams, including flagship programs such as Solar Car, Formula SAE, Robotics, Sustainable House, Rocketry, and Micro Satellite teams. Working with student team leads and academic leads, you will keep projects moving to fixed competition and engagement deadlines while ensuring activity aligns with University policies and processes.

You will also coordinate practical Work, Health, Safety and Wellbeing requirements for student-led projects across laboratories, workshops, project rooms, engagement events and off-site competitions. In partnership with Teaching and Research Technical Services and WHS staff, you will help develop and maintain risk assessments and standard operating procedures, support student training and low-risk safety inductions, maintain the Chemwatch SDS database, and run safety audits that promote a consistent safety culture.
